Classes are in the Hatha tradition. I have studied and practiced with teachers who are steeped in Iyengar, Anusara, and Judith Lasater approaches, which emphasize healthy and safe alignments, the use of yoga props (such as blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps), and adapting a yoga practice to suite a range of levels and goals.
GROUP:
Candlelight Restorative Yoga on Sundays
5pm at Sol Space
Details
1.25 hour class — Join me for a gentle system reset before the week begins. In this class, you’ll be invited to rest in fully supported poses that encourage you to slow down, quiet your mind, and reconnect with your breath and body. The heart of Restorative Yoga is the reminder: You don’t need to earn rest. This practice can cultivate a deep sense of calm and nurture creativity, preparing you to step into the new week with greater ease in your body, mind, and heart.
📍 Sol Space, 5922 W Lawrence, Chicago — It’s best to register an advance. Free parking lot (next door to Catalina Plants and Sunny Village Café).
